Twelfth Night - Bard in the BotanicsBard in the Botanics

Twelfth Night

Directed by Jennifer Dick

“My master loves her dearly;
And I, poor monster, fond as much on him;
And she, mistaken, seems to dote on me.
What will become of this?”

Shipwrecked Viola, believing that her twin brother has been drowned, finds herself alone in the strange country of Illyria. She disguises herself as a man and joins the service of the Duke Orsino. Who she falls in love with. But who is in love with the Lady Olivia. Who meets Viola in disguise and takes a fancy to this mysterious young man.

It’s just a simple tale of boy meets girl, who meets another boy, who is actually a girl in disguise, who is also in love with the first boy…

Join Bard in the Botanics as they present a joyful new outdoor production of Shakespeare’s beautiful comedy, full of love, life and laughter, and some musical surprises too!
