Cast Announcement - Beth Marshall & Finlay McLean

Another two familiar Bard faces today. We’re thrilled to welcome back Beth Marshall and Finlay McLean to the 2017 company.

Beth was a Bard regular for many years, playing roles including Titania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing - pictured), Paulina (The Winter’s Tale) and Lady Macbeth. She’s had a few years off from the summer midges but this year she’s back as one of our “headstrong women” to play the Countess of Kent in Queen Lear and Kate’s mother, Baptista Minola, in The Taming of the Shrew?.

Finlay McLean was last seen at Bard in the Botanics, playing the Duke of York in 2015’s Richard II and his other roles include the King of France in Henry V, Gonzalo in The Tempest and the Ghost in Hamlet. This year, he will be bringing his considerable talents to the roles of Gloucester in Queen Lear and Gremio in The Taming of the Shrew?
